People usually ask this question with a Reiki practitioner’s number already saved, wondering whether to use it. Both systems are real and both have their place. They were built for different jobs, and picking the wrong one is the most common reason somebody says energy healing did nothing for them.
The Short Answer
Reiki puts gentle energy in. Lama Fera takes heavy energy out. If you are broadly well and want to feel calmer and steadier, Reiki is the sensible choice and it is cheaper. If something has gone badly wrong and you cannot explain it, Reiki is likely to feel pleasant and change very little.
Reiki
Reiki is Japanese and fairly recent as these things go. It was developed by Mikao Usui in the 1920s and spread worldwide after the 1970s. The practitioner channels universal life force energy, usually through the hands, to balance the body’s energy.
It is gentle. It is also the easiest form of energy healing to find, because the training is short and widely available, which is both its strength and the reason quality varies so much from one practitioner to the next. For stress, for sleep, for recovery after illness and for general maintenance, Reiki does good work, and it does it slowly over a number of sittings.
Lama Fera
Lama Fera is Buddhist and comes out of the Himalayas, where it has been practised for a very long time. The healer channels the healing energy of Lord Buddha using symbols and mantras, and the work is done in rounds passed over the energy field, again and again, until the heaviness lifts.
It is not gentle and it is not meant to be. Practitioners describe it as closer to surgery than to massage. Nothing is added to you, so there is nothing to react against, and what it is built to do is remove negative energy, evil eye, spirit attachment and the effects of black magic, then put a protection around the field so the same thing does not walk straight back in.
Training to Grand Master level in the Lama Fera lineage takes years rather than a weekend, which is why there are far fewer practitioners of it.
The Differences That Actually Matter When Booking
| Reiki | Lama Fera | |
|---|---|---|
| Origin | Japan, 1920s | Himalayan Buddhist, far older |
| What it does | Adds gentle energy and balances | Removes heavy energy, then shields |
| Speed | Gradual, over several sittings | Fast, often felt from the first session |
| Built for | Stress, sleep, mood, general wellbeing | Negative energy, evil eye, spirit attachment, black magic effects |
| How it feels | Warm and settling | Heavy during, then noticeably lighter afterwards |
| Finding a practitioner | Easy, quality varies widely | Harder, training takes years |
How to Tell Which One You Need
Go through this honestly rather than hopefully.
Reiki fits if your life is basically working and you are tired, wound up, not sleeping well, or getting over something. Nothing is wrong that you cannot name. You want to feel better rather than to get something taken off you.
Lama Fera fits if the pattern below is familiar. Work that keeps collapsing at the last step. Money that comes in and does not stay, year after year. Relationships that break down with no cause anybody can name. Health problems that every test calls normal. Depression and anxiety that arrived without an event behind them. Sleep that breaks at the same hour with heavy dreams. A house that feels wrong to more than one person living in it.
If three or four of those are running at once and have been for a long time, gentle energy is not the tool. There is a longer list of what to look for and what to rule out first in the post on signs of black magic and evil eye.
They are not rivals. A good number of clients have had Reiki for years and keep having it. Lama Fera is the one they book when something specific has gone wrong, and they go back to Reiki afterwards for maintenance. Taking one does not mean giving up the other.
Does Distance Change Anything
No. Energy healing is not limited by distance, and a session performed for you at home is as strong as one done in the same room. This matters more for Lama Fera than for Reiki in practice, because there are so few Lama Fera practitioners that most people have nobody near them.
At Divine Shell every session is performed one to one by a Grand Master Energy Healer, over distance, for one person at a time. No group lists, and no twenty names healed together in one sitting.
What It Costs Here
Five sessions of Lama Fera healing are ₹11,995, which is $159 outside India. The 21 day programme, for problems that have run for years, is ₹26,999 or $359. Every price is on the healing services page, and the charges post explains what the money actually pays for.
Five sessions are enough to tell you whether this does anything for you. That is the point of starting there rather than with the programme.
What neither system does. No healing predicts markets or gives buy and sell calls. Neither is vashikaran, and neither can change, control or influence another person, because the healing works only on the person who asked for it. Neither replaces medical treatment. You can take healing alongside your treatment, which many clients do, and it supports a faster and better recovery.
What to Expect, Honestly
Nothing is guaranteed. How fast anybody feels a difference varies from person to person, and it depends on your own energy level, how much blockage has built up, and how much negativity is around you day to day. Some people feel it the same day. Most notice something within a day or two, usually in their sleep. For some it takes longer than a week. Where something has been in place for years, five sessions lift the weight without finishing the job, and the honest answer then is a longer programme rather than five sessions booked over and over.

Common Questions
Can I take Reiki and Lama Fera at the same time?
It is better to keep them a few days apart so you can tell what is doing what. Many clients alternate over time rather than stacking them in the same week.
Is Lama Fera stronger than Reiki?
It is built for a different job. For taking heavy energy out it is far faster. For gentle maintenance over months, Reiki is the better fit and costs less.
I had Reiki and felt nothing. Will Lama Fera be different?
If the problem was heavy energy rather than stress, then often yes, and people describe the difference as obvious. If nothing is attached and the issue is a long running pattern in your life, Lord Shiva healing is usually the better match than either.
Does Lama Fera have side effects?
Some people feel more tired for a day or two, sleep heavily, or get emotional release. There is a full answer in the post on Lama Fera side effects.
Do I need to believe in it for it to work?
You are not asked to believe anything or to change your faith. You are asked to give an honest account of what has been happening, which is what the healer actually needs.
